Taiwan Since Coronavirus Outbreak

When talking about Taiwan, it is interesting that how Taiwan struggled to escape Chinese influence. From President Tsai Ing-wen's party lost the local elections in 2018, to the most successful presidential campaign recently. This is just like a miracle for Taiwan to resist China from infiltrating and fight back with their geopolitical success, as the article in the New York Times stated. The Taiwanese government is promoting their comparative success during the coronavirus outbreak as the leverage against Chinese infiltration. President Tsai is trying to let other countries know that the existence of Taiwan is better than being annexed by China in the future.
