Teleworking in Japan

Teleworking is the global trend in the coronavirus pandemic, but it seems to be unfeasible in Japan. Even though Japanese Government urged for a stay at home order to their citizens, the necessity of printing seals on paper contract brings white collars back to office. Moreover, Japanese have internal rules that require face to face meeting for the matter of politeness. This showed that the Japanese Government was not aware for the downsides of unthoughtful stay at home order for their citizens. As many international institutions began to accept online credentials for legal documents and online meetings for conferencing, Japan should really think thoroughly on telework measures to stop white collars from getting out of their homes too often and eventually helped the spread of coronavirus.
